Queen Elizabeth II is the queen of the United Kingdom. Her parents were King George VI and Elizabeth the Duchess of York. She had one sister, Princess Margaret, who
died in 2002.
Queen Elizabeth II is married to Prince Philip. They have four children, one daughter and
three sons. The children are, Prince
Charles, Princess Anne, Prince Andrew and Prince Edward.
Prince Charles is the eldest
child and the heir to the throne. He was
married to Princess Diana. They divorced
in 1996. They had two sons, Prince
William who is second in line to the throne, and Prince Henry. Prince Charles married Camilla Parker Bowles
in 2005.
Princess Anne is the
queen’s second child. She was married to
Mark Phillips but they divorced in 1992.
They have two children, Peter and Zara.
Prince Andrew is the
queen’s third child. He was married to
Sarah Ferguson but they divorced in 1996.
They have two daughters, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie.
The queen’s youngest child
is Prince Edward. He married Sophie Rhys-Jones in 1999. They
have two children, Louise and James.
In addition to the queen’s
eight grandchildren, she also has great-grandchildren.
Prince Charles’ son,
Prince William married Catherine Middleton in 2011. They have two children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte. Prince George
is third in line to the throne. Prince William’s brother is Prince Harry. He isn’t married.
The queen has another
great-grandchild, Mia Tindall. She is Zara’s daughter and Princess Anne’s
granddaughter.
