Do you believe in ghosts?
Have you heard of places that are haunted?
Can you think of a ghost story to tell you classmates?

We are going to read a story entitled, "The Real McCoy".  What do you think this expression means?

the real McCoy
the original or true person or thing, and not a copy; authentic:

We’ve seen so many reproductions of the Mona Lisa, but when we were in Paris we saw the real McCoy.

Now read the story.

Now, write your own ghost story.
